Whatever you may say, Slavs are barbarians! The civilized world gets evidence of the fact over and over again. That is exactly what US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul said in 2012 complaining about the journalists’ behavior, «It looks like I am in a barbarian country». Indeed, would any civilized country give refuge to Edward Snowden, perceived to be a traitor of the nation in the United States? Certainly not. Germans would have extradited him because it would have been a matter of principle for them as faithful US allies. Italians would have done the same thing for a modest reward; Poles would have tortured him on the rack asking to say in detail what he had not told before.
Russian barbarians let him go on committing misdeeds and betraying the interests of the most democratic country in the world.
O.K., forget about Russians. The civilized America is spying on the whole world, but does it in a worthy manner – not a word is made public. Everything is up to par, no need for any explanations. The Ukrainian security service has done it in quite a different way. They managed to bug the phone call and listen to the conversation between Assistant Secretary Victoria Nuland and US Ambassador to Kiev Geoffrey R. Pyatt, and then the phone call was posted on YouTube.
s it the way things are done in civilized countries? What should Mrs. Nuland and Mr. Pyatt do? It was only yesterday they joined the choir of voices saying that Russia is systematically interfering into internal affairs of Ukraine. Far be it for the US to do anything like that. They swore on the Bible, the US Constitution and the United Nations Charter. Now here is a fly in the ointment for you! Just another post in the internet has spoiled all the game. As it has become known, Americans not only meddle into other people’s affairs, it was them who stirred up all this trouble on maidan. They juggle the maidan leaders like they shuffle the cards without shying away from speaking out their minds saying what they think about them. Indeed, what should you call those puppets on a string? Should you call them serious politicians?
Aside from that, it has become known they call names their close European allies…But is it that easy to restrain yourself when they pretend to be unaware who calls the shots on maidan?
In a nutshell, we got another row! «Jen» Psaki, the spokesperson for the United States Department of State, had to urgently call a briefing in Washington to appease, as much as possible, the partners in Brussels. She stressed that Nuland had apologized for the «reported comments». Just think about it, all this mess that nobody needed was started because of uncivilized behavior and clumsy slip-ups of Ukrainian special services which have no respect for privacy and freedom of the word coming from heart and soul.[…]
