Bangui (Central African Republic) (AFP) – French troops in the Central African Republic killed around 10 ex-rebels in a clash Tuesday outside a military barracks where the fighters are confined in the capital Bangui, a diplomat said.

The French forces came under fire and responded with cannon fire from a light armoured vehicle, killing around 10 ex-rebels, the diplomat told AFP on condition of anonymity.[Source]
