Johannesburg – The SA National Roads Agency Limited’s Midrand headquarters have been evacuated for the second time in a week after a suspicious powder was found, according to reports.

Eyewitness News tweeted early on Friday afternoon that officials confirmed the evacuation but could not say why the building was evacuated.

Jacaranda FM tweeted that another suspicious powder was found at the headquarters, and that emergency services are at the scene. Two people were apparently taken to hospital for safety precaution measurements.

According to reports, cars were prevented from leaving and approaching the offices.

Sanral is expected to issue a statement shortly.
